What if you could leverage your education for the poor?
Here at KPA, we believe that God cares about the poor, and as a Christian community next to a premier research institution, the U of M, we are eager to connect our educations and callings to God’s heart for mercy.
In partnership with Anselm House, we are eager to launch a new initiative for MacLaurin Fellows to opt into a Seg-Way Ministries Redemptive Urban Development (RUD) Working Group.
The RUD Working Group aims to understand the nature of poverty, especially in urban settings, and the Christian calling to pursue the holistic flourishing of economically disadvantaged communities. This group meets once each month during the program (on an off-week from the regular fellows meetings) for hands-on workshops on topics such as asset-based community development, social entrepreneurship, and sustainable economic development.
And what does the Lord require of you?
To act justly and to love mercy
and to walk humbly with your God.
– Micah 6:8
